## Network Support Engineer

**Position:** Network Support Engineer, full time hire  
**Location:** Washington, DC  
**Experience:** 3 to 5 years of relevant network experience  
\* Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time, must have reliable transportation

**Certifications:** CCNA or CompTIA Network+ or Security+

**Technical Experience:**  
- Expert at troubleshooting and resolving any network issues, including Layer-2/3 protocols, as well as Layer-4 protocols  
- Must have experience with HTTP, SSL, FTP, SMTP, RTSP protocols  
- Provide support to all devices on the network including POS systems, web applications, operating systems, routers, firewalls, and printers.  
- Must have experience procuring and installing network devices.  
- Schedule and coordinate all upgrades and continuously performance tune and optimize the network.  
- Experience working with Cradlepoint and Aerohive  
- Ensure PCI compliance

The ideal candidate will be lover of all things technology and must be willing to research and present recommendations to the C-suite. "Not my job" is not in your vocabulary. We are looking for a hands on team member willing to go on site and resolve any networking issues quickly with poise. Experience teaching non-technical team members is a huge plus. Must have shown the ability to work with 3rd party providers.
